November 22, 2019 by Rupesh Kumar

When you pursue IS graphics website, you will see many free mockups. The range from iPhone mockups, poster mockups to t-shirt mockups. Even though it’s easy to see, but not many UI/UX designers use this tool in their designing process. One of the most significant a designer will take by using this tool is that you can allow your clients to see the visualization of the final product. And, in the event, if your client doesn’t like your product and allows you to make changes, you can do it easily. A mockup lets you showcase your design to the clients before printing to the billboard.

The mockup is a static picture that can in between mid or high fidelity. Its point is to exhibit the content layout, icons, colors, navigation visuals, fonts, images and other visuals that come in the future product design process. Hence we can say that a mockup is a blueprint of your product design.

  • Content layout: A content layout is a way how content is shown on a web page or screen. For instance, it might be in Z-design format, or following the Gutenberg diagram, or F-patter layout.
  • Color Scheme: A color scheme represents the shades and colors used in the product design. Since color may affect the users’ experience, so a designer has to use in the product design very carefully. A mockup tool enables a designer to change the color until the client get satisfied.
  • Typography: This includes textual style, sizes, text spacing, and font style. Keep in mind use the font and textual style that neither dull or complex in reading.
  • Spacing: Spacing is a decision on which space is to leave unfilled and which space to fill. Negative space is one of the most dominant tools, which enables you to make the perfect balance of space in designing.
  •  Other visuals comprise everything from background images, icons to other designing things.

Reasons to use free mockups in a designing process:

They are realistic: It is an ideal open door for the designers to perceive how the entire product designing plan will appear in the future. Imagine a scenario where the shading plan doesn’t work with your requirements. The mockup tool is the way in which we can examine the final product before the development process begins.

They are easily reconsidered: At the mockup stage, it is simpler to make changes with the help of a mockup tool rather than later in the development process. Developers will praise the way that they don’t need to reformat or reconsider the product design.

They are convincing: Designers who have to build the trust of the project stakeholders, showing a blue-print of the final product is the best way that you ought to do. They are instinctively reasonable and intently appear like a final product.

Final Say:

Whether a designer does digital or print design, there are mockups accessible for whatever they need in the designing process. Showing a blue-print before the development process to the clients can make you an ideal designer and help you to achieve 100% clients’ satisfaction.
